Yerevan Municipality has temporarily banned 471 minibuses from operating in the capital for their insufficient sanitation appearance, according to the website of the Yerevan Municipality.
At a working consultation on Monday Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan was briefed that inspections conducted during the week in the city found out 31 cases when the drivers were smoking while driving.
The inspection also registered 156 cases when the minibuses made stops at places there were no bus stops.
Mayor Margaryan said that regulating public transport in the city requires consistent everyday work.
